Research On The Spatial Planning For District Of Guigang Zone In Guangxi

In recent years, with rapid industrialization and urbanization of our country, regional contactbecomes more and more close. This leads to increasingly intense competition for space andresources in the limited developing region. Thus, we urgently need to coordinate spatialcombination of the regional population, resources, environment, economy and society. Based onregional resources, social and economic developing level and the characteristics of ecologicalenvironment, spatial planning for district categorizes spatial developing patterns of differentareas, optimizes the developing of spatial setup, and coordinates all kinds of relations betweendifferent kinds of space. Then it determines the developing direction of this district, guides thehealthy direction of spatial development, and stimulates coordinative development betweendifferent areas.Taking Guigang City of Guangxi Province which includes Gangbei District, GangnanDistrict and Qintang District (both urban and countryside areas) as study object, this paper treatsdministrative villages as the basic space unit of evaluation, and constructs a set of index systemof spatial district planning for Guigang city. Highlighting the the main clue of “development"and based on a single evaluation factor of resource--economic developing level--theevaluation of the bottom basis of the ecological environment, this paper uses the index methodand cluster analysis method to comprehensively evaluate, reveal the characteristics of the urbanspatial development and determine the spatial developing zone of Guigang City. Then GuigangCity as space of first grade will be divided into: ecological developing and economic developingspace as the ideal space. From this basis, it is refined into a total of9categories as space of thesecond grade: biodiversity maintenance, water conservation, soil conservation, water storagespace; the space for agricultural development, forestry, tourism and leisure, urban development,and industrial development. According to basic characteristics of different categories of developing space of the second grade, this paper will put forward different direction for differentcategories of space. Finally, using MAPGIS technology as support, this paper draws the spatialdisctrict developing map for Guigang city. The research is to find scientific basis for adjustmentand control of developing order, making differential regional developing policy, and sustainabledevelopment of a whole area in Guigang City.
