A Research On The Relevance Of Comprehensive Income Structure And Enterprise Value

Since the new enterprise accounting standards was issued in2006,comprehensive income has been the important disclosure in the financialstatements, its structure information also has became to the consideral factorwehn an investor does enterprise value analysis. Based on the structure of thecomprehensive income, using the empirical analysis, the correlation betweencomprehensive income and the enterprise value was proofed.The first,this paper introduced literatures from scholars both at home andabroad.The second,modified Thomas model and formed disaggregated earningprograms on the basis of the research literatures in combination with thespecific statements’ situations in China. Two sets of inspection models wereestablished,one for the relevance between comprehensive income total surplusand enterprise value, another for the relevance between disaggregated earningprograms of comprehensive income and enterprise value based on the incomestatement. The third, paper analysed two sets of inspection models empiricallyand compared one result to another, using the listed company that only issue Ashares annual datas.And using the same datas, inspected expandly the relevance of disaggregated programs of omprehensive income and enterprisevalue that was on behalf of price.The finally, pointed out the result onrelevance of comprehensive income structure and enterprise value.The empirical results showed that eventually,compared to comprehensiveincome total surplus,disaggregated earning programs of comprehensiveincome provided more informations. The relevance of comprehensive incomestructure and enterprise value was more obvious.Analyzing the everyprograms of surplus can do more help,when evaluating the enterprise valuefor investors.
