Ordos City, Small And Medium-sized Enterprise Development Trend Analysis

As important strengths for the regional economic and social development, SMEs are livelihood and social stability of the core economic sectors. It is also the most important foundation to keep the economic developing steadily and fast. Recently years, with the advantages of policy and resource that supporting regional economic development of Ordos, the traditional agricultural-economy has changed to middle stage of industrialization.Some small and medium enterprises which are in this period have been developed sufficiently. Currently, the total number of the SMEs which is majority of all the enterprises, has created unusual value on the percent of GDP. It is also a large contribution to solve probloms on employment.However, the global economic is more complex now than ever. With the economic developing, Ordos is facing a problem called "the country back into"and the SMEs are also facing another critical period in growth.It has been a big change in enterprise system, industrial development, management growth,patterns and so on. Therefore, it is necessary for the SMEs’healthy to know the development of local SMEs and universal problems not only on the government’s hand, but also the SMEs’businessmen.In this regard, as the paper has considered the development’s problems and situation of the SMEs in Ordos, it has also considered systematicly about the development on environment, background, policy, existing problems of SMEs in Ordos. It has inquired on a main problem called "financing" which is puzzlling much of the SMEs. At last, the general characters has been considered which are been on the SMEs’self-development in order to make better on environment and their own reform for SMEs by suming up experience, grasping of reality and facing the future. The study not only can be able to provide some suggestions on the development and growth of SMEs in Erdos,but also more powerful force of the SMEs to the economic and social development in Ordos.
