The Study Of China’s Fiscal And Monetary Policy In The Post-Financial Crisis Era

In the market economy conditions, fiscal policy and monetary policy are theprimary means for the government macroeconomic regulation and control. Thecoordination of these two policies is the focus of theory and practice sector.Coordination of the two policies is a necessary condition of running modern marketeconomy, will ensure macroeconomic stability, industrial structure, coordination, andan important prerequisite for social order and stability. Especially since the globalfinancial crisis, how these two policies coordinate to fully play its positive economicrole in regulating is explored in depth. Therefore the fiscal policy and monetarypolicy coordination research in the Post-financial crisis era, has an importanttheoretical and practical significance.In the thesis, firstly, it consists of a comparative analysis of fiscal policy andmonetary policy. The author explains the need for fiscal policy and monetary policycoordination, selection method and the impact of economic growth. Secondly, itreviews the implementation of fiscal policy and monetary policy, including thecoordination of fiscal policy and monetary policy in1998-2010, and the role of fiscalpolicy and monetary policy coordination in economic growth and the problems incoordination in fiscal policy and monetary policy policies. Thirdly, the author analyzethe2007global financial crisis on China’s macroeconomic performance, furtherdemonstrated that the two coordination effects on the economy. This study consist acollection of data and the corresponding parameter estimation of model, include Unitroot test, the error correction model and Granger test. The main objective of thisdissertation is about fiscal and monetary policies and their coordination effects.Finally, this thesis evaluates the fiscal and monetary policy and its coordinationeffects on economic growth and gives recommendations for corresponding policy inthe Post-financial crisis era.
