Regional Economy Coordination Development In Yunnan Province

China has vast territory, since the reform and opening up, with vigorouslypromotion of economic globalization and urbanization process, and the differencebetween the region already intensify. It is not only the differences between the threezones is widening trend, but also inter-provincial and provincial difference isincreasingly obvious, and the widening gap will hinder the stable development of thenational economy. Regional linkage such as labor, capital, information, technologyand other factors of production become more frequent, for mutual benefit, to achieveharmony between regions and achieve sustainable development and coordination ofthe development will have a greater significance.Yunnan Province is located in China’s southwestern border with complexgeomorphology and fragile ecology and poverty; between urban and rural areas,between the mountains and the pain area, between the border and the Mainland,development imbalance between the different ethnic is increasingly prominent. AfterChairman Hu Jintao inspected Yunnan, who put forward that Yunnan can be China’san important beachhead for Southwest open, and Yunnan Province, to become a keybridge and an important link to achieve the further opening to the outside world. Theprovincial co-ordination is imperative, only the provincial economy coordinateddevelopment with a certain degree of sustainability, achieve the goal of theharmonious development of Yunnan Province, in essence, become a true bridgehead.This article involves the regional coordinated development study, and sums upthe meaning of a regional coordinated development in Yunnan Province. First, thereare statistical descriptions on various economic indicators Yunnan Province in2010by using of the method of combining normative and empirical method, showing that,on the whole, there’s a good momentum of regional economic development inYunnan Province. Followed by,16prefectures of Yunnan Province, total economicoutput, per capita, industrial development, urban-rural income disparities, industrial structure, economic efficiency differences in various aspects of regional differences,are analyzed and researched, and eventually found the changes over time regionaldifferences in Yunnan Province is shrinking, but the narrowing of the range is limited.Through horizontal comparison, the difference between the Yunnan Province regionsis still larger, which essentially hinder regional economic development in YunnanProvince.In this paper, the author uses qualitative and quantitative analysis, and reviewsthe course of coordinated regional economic development of the Yunnan Province.Setting up scientific index evaluation system, with the samples of16each prefecturesof Yunnan, and using principal component analysis and coordinated developmentevaluation index to study each state’s economic, social, ecological three subsystemscoordination development spatial difference of the level of development, and foundthat social subsystem is the most important factor affecting the overall coordinateddevelopment. the results obtained are: Kunming is a regional city of a high level ofcoordinated evelopment; Yuxi, Lijiang, Chuxiong and Xishuangbanna, Dali, Dehong,Diqing are regional cities of general level coordinated development, Qujing, Baoshan,Zhaotong, Pu’er, Lancang, Honghe, Wenshan, Nujiang are the regional cities of thelow level of coordinated development. Therefore, starting from the ground state,differences of Yunnan Province region coordinated development is big. Second, usethe province’s sample data from2001to2010decade, and use the time seriesprincipal component analysis method and system coordination method to studyYunnan Province over the past decade, regional economic co-ordination developmentand its trends, and the results are found that, nearly a decade, the province’s regionaleconomic development continuous improvement, including the biggest contributionof the social subsystem, while economic, ecological subsystem in recent years areinhibition of the overall development of coordinated regional economic development.two-two system in Yunnan Province is poor coordination, especially uncoordinatedconflicts in economic and social ecology are more prominent. Therefore,strengthening coordination within the system and coordination between systems is essential to promote regional economic coordinated development in Yunnan.Finally, the author analyzes factors affecting regional economic coordinateddevelopment in Yunnan Province and they are geographic location factors, theindustrial structure factors, the science and education factors, and eco-environmentalfactors. The author puts forward Corresponding countermeasures and suggestions forthe problems of each subsystem, and hope to further strengthen Yunnan regionaleconomic coordinated development.
