| The high and new technology industry has constantly been developed since reform and opening up. Over last two decades, its fast development made it to be an important part of national economy. At the same time, the high and new technology industries are collected in several major regions and deltas. The innovation of science and technology, as the basic drive force of high and new technology industry, is increasingly significant. The province of Fujian is a main and representative of the West Side of the Economic Area in Taiwan Straits, so, the studies on its development conditions and the capacity of innovation for its bright prospects.The subject of this thesis is the high and new technology industry in Fujian province. The thesis, firstly, discusses and analyzes the position of Fujian in terms of high and new technology industry according to its production and management as well as the activities on science and technology. Secondly, the characteristics of high and new technology industry over all provinces will be explained. Thirdly, the author will analyze the distribution in space of high and new technology industry by means of Theil index, Gini index, and Coefficient of variation. Moreover, the elements impacting the distribution in space will be discussed. Then, the collective degree and the spillover effect of different industries will be explored by using EG index. Finally, from the views of the enterprises power, the differences in industries and in regions, the author will study the difference in capacity on innovation. The analysis will have application on variety of elements on innovation by using factor analysis method, while the relations between the innovation of enterprises and regional professional and diversity will be discussed at the current situation. |
