Risk Management Research Of Venture Capital Project In Internet Industry

The development of venture capital started from severeal decades ago, and now this indusrty has reached its mature stage, since a a set of standardized and effective systems has already been established, and investors can achieve considerable benefit from it. The internet industry in China experienced a decade of stable development from year2001to2011. As to the venture capital oganizations who can have deep insight into the opportunities in internet industry, the investment in internet industry will be more appealing, and the relatively stable industrial condition in China will do good to the development of Chinese internet companies abroad. The internet industry in China will develop in high speed in the next five years, the internet that give birth to huge investment value will attract great interest of venture capital oganizations.In this work, we study about the current situation of risk management of venture capital project in internet industry in China and abroad, apply Delphi Method to construct the risk factors system of venture capital project in internet industry, bring up the comprehensive risk assessment model of venture capital project in internet industry that base on the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process, and propose a new venture capital mode called science and technology enterprise all-around the method of risk management, which can effectively manage the risk of venture capital in internet industry. We take CX venture capital firms as example, apply expert assessment method, in this method, we invite the experts that engage in the venture capital project in internet industry and that have related experience about internet industry to assess and measure every possible risk, to apply comprehensive risk assessment model that base on the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process, and to obtain the overall judgment of risk factors that this company will face. According to this process, the function of the venture capital mode called science and technology enterprise all-around the method of risk management on the promotion and enssurance of investment implement and the method of risk management is introduced, and this mode ensure the maximum possibility of success in investment project.From the study in our work, we can conclude that the application of comprehensive risk assessment model that base on the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process to assess the risk system of venture capital project in internet industry is workable, and the new venture capital mode called science and technology enterprise all-around the method of risk management is generally practical in risk control of venture capital project in internet industry is workable.
