Dividend policy is one of three core financial activities of modern corporate. It plays a vital role on the development of listed companies. China’s retail industry has made rapid development after reform and opening up. It plays an important role in the national economy. However, in the current, the research about the relationship between Ownership structure and dividend policy of listed companies in the retail sector is rare. I made theoretical analysis and empirical research about the relationship between ownership structure and dividend policy of listed companies in China’s retail industry according to studying existing research results and analyzing the characteristics of China’s stock market.1select the listed companies in retail industry from2008to2009as empirical sample. The research highlights the relevance and timeliness. In the course of empirical study, I used the method of descriptive statistics and the multiple linear regression models. I found out the problems according to empirical research findings, and then put forward reasonable proposals.
