Empirical Research On Choosing Time And Fund Of Index Funds Fixed Investment

Along with our economic development and our personal wealth accumulation, people’s requirement of protecting and growing assets has been driving the service-intensive and the product innovation of the asset management industry. In2005, the funds fixed investment appeared on the market and immediately got investors’attention.Because the fund fixed investment is still a new thing in China, there is too little information for investors to learn about it, not to speak of index funds fixed investment. We can see that the fund investors got profits a lot from the second half of2005to the second half of2007, and suffered heavy losses in the next several years. Heaven to hell, but no one knows why.So, what is the index funds fixed investment really means? Who suits to choose the financial program like this? What is the time that we enter and how to keep earnings in the whole investment period? This paper is devoted to answer these questions.In this paper, first it introduces the basic knowledge of index funds and funds fixed investment. Then it focuses on the time to enter the market using model research. In the last, it puts forward three standards of index funds fixed investment about subject index, tracking error and charge model, using the empirical research to solve the problems according to these standards.Finally, this paper goes to the results like these below:First, we should start our index funds fixed investment when we think the market will continue to fall recently but will rise eventually.Second, if we have found the enter time, we should choose the subject index which will determine the index funds we choose next, according to the risk tolerance and the yields requirement of ourselves.Third, we should choose the index funds with the smallest tracking error.In the end, we have to consider the charge model. If we will hold the funds more than a year, we would better choose the back-end fees model.
