Research Of Financing Problems In Fujian Taiwanese Enterprises

The economy in Fujian Province has undergone a tremendous change since China’sreform and opening up of about three decades. Meanwhile Taiwanese enterprises inFujian have been developing with a surprising rapidity. Mass credible data, no matterfrom the investment fields and scale or the business share, can be found to show thatTaiwanese enterprises are playing an important role in Fujian economy. However, it ispuzzled that very limited support has been provided by the governments and financialinstitutions of Taiwan and mainland for the Taiwan businessmen in Fujian whichhardly fulfill their role as the important backup."Big economic and trade, smallfinance"is the most profound reflection of the cross-strait economic and tradeexchanges.Based on the enterprise life development cycle theory and the financial ecologicaltheory, this thesis starts from the practice of Cross-strait economic and tradecooperation as well as the current situation of Taiwan business activity in Fujian,making an analysis of the financing problems in the process of Fujian Taiwaneseenterprises life development cycle according to the first-hand data obtained byquestionnaire and visiting part of typical Taiwanese enterprise in Fujian, making aprimary study on the subjective and objective reasons why Fujian Taiwaneseenterprises encounter the bottleneck in the course of financing, and then combiningwith the function positioning and policy support of economic zone in the west bankof Taiwan Strait according to the12th Five-Year Plan, putting forward the feasibilityplans of cracking the financing bottleneck for Fujian Taiwanese enterprises, such asestablishing Special Financial Zone of Fujian and Taiwan in Xiamen, taking greatadvantage of the industrial investment fund, developing cooperation of individualbusiness between cross-strait bank institutions. Meanwhile, picturing a developingchart of financing for Fujian Taiwanese enterprises, providing the theoretical supportand feasible practice scheme for Fujian Taiwanese enterprises in bettering their financing problems so as to make contribution to the development of the cross-straiteconomic and trade exchanges.
