Viewing The Times Value Of Prosperity From The Thought Of Deng Xiaoping’s Common Prosperity

Realizing “Common prosperity” is a dream that Chinese nation pursuescontinuously. Generations have made unremitting efforts to struggle for this goal inorder to fulfill this dream. At present, there are many social problems, such as theuncoordinated development, the distensible disparity of income and the aggravatingpolarization between the rich and the poor. According to all of these serious socialsituations, our government put up with new ideas---“people rich and the countrystrong” in the12th Five-Year Plan. To improve people’s livelihood is to developpeople’s wealth, which is the basis for achieving a prosperous country; in the contrary,a prosperous country is a guarantee for people’s flourish.“Make people rich and makethe country strong” is not only a developmental strategy to achieve “commonprosperity”, but also a stage to achieve “common prosperity”The former two chapters of this thesis are theoretical statements which are thetheoretical basis for the following part. Chapter three is the combination of DengXiaoping’s Common Prosperity and the theory “people rich and the country strong”.The fourth chapter discussed the times value of “people rich and the country strong”,taking Deng Xiaoping’s Common Prosperity as the logical starting point. Based onthis approach, the structure of this thesis is composed of four sections.The first section mainly discussed Deng Xiaoping’s Common Prosperity ideafrom the following aspects: its background, its presentation and development, itsscientific connotation, its characteristics of times value, its internal goal and the wayto realize the goal. The thesis states that “Common Prosperity” is our goal.The second section illustrated the basic theory of “people rich and the countrystrong”, which was developed from the basic components, the characteristics, thetheoretical basis and the realistic background of its generation, interpreting that“people rich and the country strong” conform to the trend of age and is the only wayto reach “common prosperity”.The third section mainly analyzed the conjunction point of Deng Xiaoping’sCommon Prosperity idea and “people rich and the country strong” by combining thesetwo theories together. Starting from the correspondence of the inner link, the relevance and the age target, the thesis deduced that “people rich and the countrystrong” is the strategy and the stage of development as well as the trend of the age forachieving Common Prosperity on the basis of connecting the external manifestationand the common goal.The fourth Section is the core of this thesis, exploring the times value of “peoplerich and the country strong” from the viewpoint of Deng Xiaoping’s CommonProsperity idea. Considering Deng Xiaoping’s Common Prosperity ideology as thelogical starting point of “people rich and the country strong” times value, the thesisanalyzed the times value of “people rich and the country strong”, which is stated fromthe following points: the highlight of the most fundamental target value, the guaranteeof the progressive realization of Common Prosperity goals, the best strategy toresolving social contradictions etc.
