Study On The Efficiency Of Ports And Development Of Measures In Coastal Economic Uplifted Zone In Hebei

The port plays a very important role in traffic transportation system in our country.The port is the strategic node in integrated transport system, then is the informationcenter and value-added center of the modern international trade and logistics. Thethree ports in Coastal Economic Uplifted Zone is important sea-going outlets andopening doors in north and northwest of China, and have the important strategicposition to promote the coordinated development of regional in Beijing, Tianjin andHebei. But similar degrees of the port function are high, the hinter landsare overlap,and internal competitions are unavoidably, which makes improve productionefficiency to meet the requirements of the ports has become a problem to be solved.This paper analyzes the current situation of the development of Qinhuangdao port,Tangshan port, Huanghua port from four aspects, including the port scale, portthroughput, kinds of port goods and investment. And summarize traffic infrastructureof each port, clear traffic location of each port, Based on the development ofeconomic inland port, analyzes existing problems of ports in Coastal EconomicUplifted Zone: short of the ability of ports, the total single function, and theinteractive development effect is not enough between local and port. Second, calculatethe production efficiency of ports in Coastal Economic Uplifted Zone through DataEnvelopment Analysis and Malmquist Index Method, draw a conclusion thatproduction efficiency of the overall ports in group Coastal Economic Uplifted Zonehas a good development trend. And through quantitative measure of the productionefficiency of the ports, clear the development direction on Qinhuangdao port,Tangshan port, Huanghua port, in order to improve the efficiency of the ports. Finally,put forward the development measures in Coastal Economic Uplifted Zone, includingclear port development strategic position, speed up the port construction, promotesystem of freight collection, strengthen the construction of port logistics and thefunction linkage among the ports.
