Project logistics plays a significant sole in the project. With the rapiddevelopment of the logistics industry in China during recent years, research andpractice on project logistics also receive more and more attention. Most of traditionalresearches about logistics project focus on single item that is concentrating on the costor transportation mode of a single cargo logistics optimization problem. Althoughquite a lot of researches in this area, few are conducted for the transportation cost inproject logistics with time windows. Meanwhile, time and project integrity are twotypical characteristics in the project logistics. Based on this, this paper mainly focuseson the optimization of transportation cost combined time windows and projectlogistics.(1) Elaborated the definition of project logistics, the difference between projectlogistics and product logistics.(2) Make a clear explanation of time windows, and clarify the different timewindow types.(3) Cost optimization oriented, considered time windows and the cost ofpunishment, to establish the project logistics transportation cost model. Themodel constrained optimal solution is to provide optimal transport strategy,including forms of transport and transit time.(4) With scheduling aspects of a project, by changing the time of projectscheduling, further expand the optimization model. With field research studyof an oilfield service company, build the example, using CPLEX to solve themodel, and verify the model’s feasibility and rationality of the program.(5) Considering the potential variation of the model constraints, analysis thesensitivity of the model. Its purpose is to figure out the allowable variationrange of the data used for decision-making while the original optimaldecision-program continues to be valid.
