This paper analyses the impact on the demand for Chinese outbound tourism to Korea generated by Korean TV dramas and its change in broadcasting media, substitute destination and marketing expenses of Korea Tourism Organization on the basis of the Autoregressive Distributed Lag model (ADLM).The conclusions of this study are as follows:First, the growth of Chinese Personal Disposable Income affects the fundamental factor in the growth of Chinese outbound tourism to Korea. Second, marketing activities of Korea Tourism Organization also affect Chinese tourism to Korea. Third, substitute destination price analysis shows that Korea rivals with Japan as a substitute destination for Chinese outbound tourism.Based on the above conclusions, Korea’s tourism marketing recommendations are as follows:First, in order increase Chinese tourists to Korea, the Korean government should increase the marketing investment towards Chinese outbound tourism to Korea. Second, marketing strategies comparing and differentiating Korea from Japan must be established. Third, should monitor the income and tourism preferences of the Chinese people. In order to make traveling to Korea flexible and comfortable, tourist information and services should be maintained up-to-date.
