Investigation Of Food Safety Regulators’ Training Status In Shaanxi Province Quality Supervision System

In recent years, food security has become the social focus of attention, the party andstate leaders have repeatedly requested to strengthen food safety, the news media at all levelshas also frequently paid close attention to it. Food safety is related to the national economyand the people’s livelihood, the quality of life and survival development of the State andnation. This paper mainly analyzed the theoretical knowledge and practical ability masteredby food safety practitioners and existing problems of training needs, combined with thecharacteristics of their own posts, theoretical knowledge, training methods, and regulatorymode were worked out to improve the training quality of food safety practitioners in thetraining center of Shaanxi Provincial Bureau of Quality Supervision. The main conclusionsare as follows:(1) In Shaanxi Provincial Quality Supervision System, Master degree candidates accountedfor7.56%of food safety regulators, undergraduates accounted for55.23%, college graduatesaccounted for26.16%, and staffs related to food major accounted for26.16%. At present, thestaffs accepted food safety expertise training were fewer, so the effectiveness of foodregulation was not effectively guaranteed;6out of81laboratories in county bureau were ableto carry out laboratory tests, most of laboratories in county bureau had no the main test forcesrely on social hiring staff to work most of the county bureau laboratory no surveyor formation,the original food regulatory staff can not afford this work because of the professional learningreasons. Most of the frontline staffs in food safety supervision system have employed firstand been trained in the days fallowed, so the post-training is an urgent need to strengthen.(2) There were some problems existed in food safety supervision personnel training, such asfewer analysis of training needs, simply training methods, rigid raining mechanism, and shallow training and examination assessment, which had seriously restricted and effectedtraining results.(3) In the new situation of the quality supervision department under management of the localgovernment, the training mode of food safety supervision should be based on funds guarantee,and ethic training is the precondition., rigid implementation is the guarantee, the practicalability is the standard, the school-enterprise cooperation is the direction, and examination andevaluation is the driving force, in order to build a trine training mode, which consists ofelectronic educational training platform of Shaanxi Provincial Quality Supervision system,regular establishment of the quality supervision lecture, and important topic seminar. Thetraining mechanism also needs to built and completed, which should confirm training itemsbased on supervision needs, establish training contents according to actual demands, and havethe aid of Internet education.
