The Sino-Algerian Economic Cooperation

Nowadays It is very clear that Sino-Algerian cooperation is continually growing, which made china now one of the most important partner for Algeria.Thepropose of the study was to identify the major domain of this cooperation, in order to examine them; another aim was to find out the effects of this cooperation on the Algerian economy.Both qualitative and quantitative research methodology was utilized in this study.Thequalitative research data consisted of interview with a responsible of a Chinese construction company in Algeria and also with the aid of a questionnaire which was given to the responsible of three different Chinese construction companies in Algeria.The quantitative research data was gathered from Algerian and Chinese governmental agencyIt was found that the bilateral trade doubled more than24times (2000-2010) and we discover that the investment regime in Algeria provide obstacle which is one of the reasonthat the Chinese investment still very little, but it is growing, the result revealed that the contracts signed between Chinese state-owned companies and Algeria was the highest in AfricaThe principal conclusion was that this cooperation is having a good social economic effect on the Algerian economy but it must be farmed for a maximum benefit.
