Along with the gradual improvement of capital market and financial crises, the profit space of commercial Banks is more and more narrow, because the commercial bank’s major income source is from interest income. In order to improve their income level, commercial Banks active in business innovation. As one of the three pillars of the commercial bank business, non-interest income has low risk, high income and the stable income and other characteristics, every country is active in non-interest income innovation, so non-interest income has become the important means of commercial bank competition.Non-interest income began in1970s when it was popular with financial liberalization and the period of innovation wave. Non-interest income does not be constituted within the table assets and liabilities in a commercial bank, forming the non-interest income of the business. The particularity of non-interest income is that it does not use or not directly use their own capital,but increase the total amount of assets and liabilities, various flexible, low transparency, and not easy to control. Innovation is not only beneficial to reducing management risks and improve profitability, but also related to the survival and development of commercial banks in China. With the improving integration pattern of global financial, commercial banks all over the countries actively gain a lot profit among non-interest income innovation. So, how to innovate better and speed up the development of non-interest income is very important.The commercial Banks in United States, Britain and other developed countries open up many non-interest income business through the diversified and comprehensive management and strategic alliance among different financial institutions, thus they greatly improve the bank’s earnings, make the structure of commercial bank business get promoted. In recent years, along with the reformation of financial system, commercial banks in China all attach more importance to the innovation of non-interest income, and make rapid progress in it, but generally speaking, because non-interest income business innovation of commercial bank in China starts late, there are kinds of problems in the middle, such as lack of talented professional, less varieties, and the imperfect of marketing method and pricing mechanism, etc. This article analyzes the present situation and problems of non-interest income business innovation in China in detail, take example by the successful experience of developed countries. Finally, this paper puts forward the strategies of accelerating non-interest business innovation, in order to shorten the gap with developed countries and increase the competitive power.
