After more than30years of rapid industrialization, our country economy has obtained the hugesuccess. However, accompanied by a series of social responsibility, corporate social responsibilityissues have been made at present our country government and the hot issues of social publicconcern. Under the pressure of public opinion and the public, the enterprises begin to pay closeattention to their social responsibility. However there are some fundamental questions botheringenterprise, namely the implementation of corporate social responsibility will affect its financialperformance, and if there is impact, it is affected by what way, how to evaluate and manage theperformance of corporate social responsibility. This article is around the study of these problems.This article first has been clear about the intension and extension of the corporate socialresponsibility, then through social performance model to different social responsibility to make acomprehensive consideration. Secondly, from the current corporate social responsibility andfinancial performance: an empirical study of relationship, most studies support the positivecorrelation between financial performance and social performance relationship, namely enterprisesto perform social responsibility social performance, in conjunction with the direction of impact onenterprise’s financial performance. This provides motivation for enterprises to actively fulfill thesocial responsibility. In terms of impact mechanism, this article from the perspective ofstakeholders, the corporate social responsibility is divided into six categories, each type of socialresponsibility is subdivided as mandatory social responsibility and voluntary social responsibility.Mandatory social responsibility is the enterprise must fulfill, even though it will cost the enterpriseeconomic benefits, but nonperformance will significantly reduce corporate economic performanceand seriously affect the enterprise normal production and business operation activities; voluntarysocial responsibility is the enterprise strengths, freedom of choice, performance will increase thecompetitive advantage of enterprise, bring more economic benefits. Finally, we apply the analytichierarchy process to the corporate social performance evaluation index system, determine theresponsibility of the target, set up the grading system and scoring criteria, so as to build thecorporate social performance evaluation index system. In the case analysis, the article takes therepresentative of the coal enterprise in Shanxi Province——Shanxi LuAn green energy Co. LTDas an example, evaluates and measures of corporate social performance, and illustrates the corporate social performance evaluation index system of the practical application.Through this article research can help companies think about corporate social responsibilitycorrectly, help them to better establish social responsibility performance management system,realize the goal of social responsibility and the combination of enterprise economic goal.
