Comparative Analysis Of Agricultural Efficiency Between Traditional Tobacco Agriculture And Modern Tobacco Agriculture

China is a large agricultural country, which agriculture is very important in developing national economy. As a kind of important cash crop, tobacco occupied significant position in the national economy. As one of the dominant industry of agriculture, tobacco agriculture plays a decisive role in developing village economy. In this thesis, Comparative analyses of the characteristics of development were carried out between traditional agriculture and modern agriculture in Liuyang. The development status quo of tobacco agriculture and the advantage of developing modern tobacco agriculture in Liuyang were analyzed. Also, the agricultural efficiency between traditional agriculture and modern tobacco agriculture in Liuyang was analyzed. These results indicated that the modern tobacco agriculture is a comprehensive agriculture development pattern which science is the core, commodity is the feature, intensive is the orientation and talent training is the way. The production efficiency of modern tobacco agriculture is higher than traditional tobacco agriculture, and the modern tobacco agriculture will be the inevitable choice of tobacco industry. There were location, land and rural labor resources advantage and rich production experience in Liuyang. In addition, the average cultivated area and the average annual output value increased year by year since the development of modern tobacco agriculture in Liuyang. There was more agricultural efficiency in modern tobacco agriculture than traditional tobacco agriculture. The results in this thesis have important theoretical significance for developing modern tobacco agriculture and advancing the development of economy in Liuyang.
