With the negative effccts of environmental problem and resourse crisis beingexposed day by day, more and more counries realize the defect of the traditionaleconomy, with sacrifice the environmental qulity and resource storage for economygrowth, and turn to a sustainable development, which means the ecnomy qrowthwon’t be achieved at cost of environment and resource storage. Green economy statsto become the mainstream of the word’s economy development. As a newconsumption pattern which meets with the idea of sustainable development and greeneconomy, green consumption draws greet attention of many countriesand is beingpositively promoted by the latter. Nevertheless, only promoting green consupntionthrough moral education,which is what many goverments doing now, is far fromenough for the guidance of green consumption. As a metter of fact, how to creat amotivation for green pruduction and green cosumption,by considering theself-interest of businesses and consumers a prerequisite for realizing greenconsumption.See this article as a guide to the basic theory of economics, combined with gametheory model of the green consumer guide direction and countermeasures from theperspective of businesses and consumers.This article is divided into five parts. In the first part, the relevant theory andsignificance of green consumption are described. In the second part, an analysises ofmotive power and impediments for green cosumption are done seperately on eachparticipents of green consumption.In the third part, there are three game models ofgreen consumption, which are set to help the analysis of the motive of participants ingreen cosumption, and to find the way to increse motive power,aslong as decreasethe impediments. In the fourth part, many the successful experiences in promotinggreen consumption of other counties are introduced and summarized, in order to behelpful for our country. The fifith part is the last part, it contains a discussion oneconomic incentive mechanism, institutional constraints and cultural propaganda forgreen, from the apect of economy, law and culture. On one hand, the importance ofincentive constraints is highlighted in the last part, on the other hand it also affirmsthe necessarity of cultural guide as a supplementary policy.
