Research On The Agglomeration Of Financial Industry

With the development of economic globalization, the financial globalization, information inscience and technology globalization, the core status of the financial industry is more and moreimportant in the modern economy. The concentration of financial industry has gradually become atrend of financial development. Financial agglomeration plays a good role in promoting on localeconomic development. This article study the problem of financial agglomeration from the point ofview to construct the financial functional district in Shanxi Taiyuan, study on the use of financialgeography, industry agglomeration and financial agglomeration theory and method of financialindustry agglomeration of multiple perspectives. Analysis of financial agglomeration producingcondition, cause, as well as the effects, comprehensively and systematically generalized theproblems related to the financial industry agglomeration. This article combines the relevant theoryof financial industry agglomeration with the problem encountered in Taiyuan, using the method oftheory and practice, finding the advantages and disadvantages existed in the economic developmentof Taiyuan. And study the successful experience of the financial function of the area from home andabroad. Finally I put forward policy suggestions of finance industry cluster.This article is divided into seven sections. The first chapter is the introduction, which introducethe background and significance of this paper. The review of the related literatures on financialagglomeration at home and abroad. The second chapter carries on the analysis to the related basictheory, including the financial geography theory, the theory of industrial agglomeration andfinancial industry agglomeration theory. And I compare the financial agglomeration and industrialclustering. The third chapter carries on the analysis to the conditions and reasons of financialagglomeration, makes a detailed summary of financial agglomeration mode. The fourth chapterintroduces the financial agglomeration effect, pointed out that the financial agglomeration throughfour effect to promote regional economic development. The fifth chapter carried on the exampleanalysis to Taiyuan, Taiyuan in the financial status of agglomeration process and shortcomings. Thesixth chapter promotes the Taiyuan financial industrial agglomeration policy suggestions throughthe shortcomings of the proposed, in order to promote the rapid development of Taiyuan’s economy.The seventh chapter is the main conclusions and prospects of this paper, conclusion is drawn, andthe shortcomings to be improved.
