Study On How To Improve Tax Management Of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank(SPDB)

Many domestic and foreign scholars prefer to discuss the tax management from the government’s perspective, so we can read plenty of paper about tax management like that. However, it started late on studying tax management from business perspective. And the theory is unsystematic and integrity. Parts of these studies pay more attention on tax management than tax planning, and even blur the difference between the two concepts. With the rapid development of social economy, people are aware of the tax management cannot simply be treated as tax planning. It is not only very important to increase revenue by reducing tax costs, but also to control potential tax risks. The tax management should be covered by the tax planning and tax risk control.This article discussed the tax planning and tax risk control of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank from the overall management situation. It expounded the existing problems and the causes of tax planning and control. It designed tax risk management and control system and made the tax planning specific strategy in regular business activities. It expected to maximize after-tax income under the compliance of the premise through reasonable tax planning, reducing tax costs, the effective risk control.On one hand, I hope this article can get more attention of the senior management in the commercial banks firstly. In order that they may attract talents and improve internal management, organizational structure and management system for their business; on the other hand, it may give some advice about tax management theory for Chinese commercial bank.
