However, the Western developed countries in the field of high-end clothing in the world, still occupies an irreplaceable position, analysis of the reasons we can see, the relative lack of parity in natural resources, but in the advanced factors of production, such as senior designers, skilled workers, and its advantage is more obvious, the world’s top fashion designers are concentrated in these developed countries. Meanwhile, the advanced technology of the developed countries is in the high-end Garment market dominance of a critical factor in these developed countries have the world’s most advanced textile machinery, so you can create some developing countries manufacturing senior clothing fabric. From this we can see that the Western developed countries at a disadvantage in terms of natural resources and labor, but they rely on state-of-the-art technology as well as a large number of senior Garment personnel occupy the world’s high-end clothing market. This is exactly the Porter’s theory mentioned in order to obtain long-term competitive advantage, it is necessary to develop the principle of the senior elements.We get inspiration from the analysis of the western development of garment industry in the developed countries. In view of the Garment Industry Development Status, this paper gives some suggestions from the factor of production, requirement, related industries, enterprise strategy and government.
