China’s Joint-stock Commercial Bank Enterprise Culture Construction Research

As market economy booms and competition gets fiercer, the effect of enterpriseculture is acquiring an increasingly greater immediate significance. However,according to the running state of enterprise culture construction in China, it is still inits infancy. In the process of enterprise culture construction, Many enterprises arepursuing modality, ignoring the really thought intention which can help the enterprisesdevelop healthily and long. Enterprise cultures can not infiltrate these values andbeliefs into the blood of its managements, much less the soul levels. The problems ofenterprise culture construction have brought many negative factors，hindered thehealthy development of economy society. How to make enterprise culture infiltrateinto the operating of enterprises, reflect in the enterprise system, guide the behavioridentity, has been a powerful supporting point to realize the strategic target. Under theguidance of culture, externally shoulder the responsibility to provide satisfactoryproducts and services, internally cause enterprise and each staff’s success, and finallypromote the development of enterprise, all the above is the aim of writing this paper.We first discuss the enterprise culture definition，characteristic and function，thenfrom the nature and characteristics of commercial bank, take China MinshengBanking Corporation for example, we research the enterprise culture of joint-equitycommercial bank by the means of questionnaire survey, interviews and case analysis.After that, we analyze both the successful and unsuccessful experience of ChinaMinsheng Banking Corporation in the progress of enterprise culture construction andpresent a new thought and approach for the enterprise culture construction ofjoint-equity commercial bank. The theoretical results will give use for reference anddirection, and provide useful help for the healthy development of Chinese joint-equitycommercial bank in long term.
