Research On Model Of Supply Chain Constructing And Operating Based On Fractal Theory

With the rapid development and application of science and technology, modernenterprise is developing towards digital, intelligent, integrated direction. The competitionamong modern enterprises transfers from the original single enterprise competition to thecompetition among supply chains. In the new competitive environment, the research andapplication of the supply chain management and the information system becomes theimportant foundation for the development of modern enterprises. The self-innovation abilityof traditional steady supply chain management model is weak, and the non-steady supplychain brings unpredictability for the development of enterprises. Therefore, to support thecompetition among supply chains under complex and changeable market environment, wemust introduce a new supply chain management method.The core idea of fractal theory is similarity between part and part, or part and whole, andthe fractal is composed of fractal elements. Based on fractal theory, according to the targetdrive mechanism, enterprise supply chain is divided into a number of fractal supply chainelements with self-similarity, self-organization, self-optimization features, which we calledfractal supply chain. View the fractal supply chain elements as the basic units, according tothe similarity relationship among them and other fractal supply chain elements and the wholesupply chain, fractal supply chain model is built and managed to solve the problem thattraditional supply chain can not own both the stability and flexibility, thus making enterprisescan adapt to the market competition under the new environment and situation.Based on the fractal theory, fractal supply chain is put forward which is a new supplychain model. The main research works include as follows:(1) The supply chain model basedon the fractal theory is constructed;(2) The self-similarity of fractal supply chain is studied,and the self-similarity algorithm between fractal elements is researched and proved;(3) Thefractal supply chain system is designed and implemented. The system mainly includes: one issystem management, mainly the management module of the whole system. The systemadministrator assigns different permissions for different users and roles. The other is theoperation of fractal supply chain, mainly the management and maintenance of fractal supply chain model based on the operating mode.This paper puts the fractal theory into supply chain management information system, andestablishes the fractal supply chain model and the prototype system, thus providing a newmanagement method and system for the modern enterprise’s supply chain.
