Whether in the fast ignition scenario of laser nuclear fusion, or in theinteraction between solar wind and ionosphere, beam-plasma interaction plays animportant role, while the beam-plasma instability takes significant part of systemevolution in beam-plasma interaction. By some simplification, we treat the highenergy electron generated by the strong-laser as one-dimensional electrostatic, anduse the modified KEMPO1to simulate the process. There exists a lot of instabilitieslike beam-plasma instability, two-stream instability, Weibel instablity. We give ashort history of these instabilities and recent progress, and describe the beam-plasmainstability in the MHD and kinetic frame as long as the condition for the existenceof instability and the growth rate. On the other hand, we introduce the advantage anddisadvantage of PIC method compare with fluid method, and detail the modificationof KEMPO1. Base on the modified model, we investigate the no electron beam, onehundred percent background electron density, one thousand percent backgroundelectron density case of system evolution, and gives the electron beam energychange, dispersion relation of plasma and the instability growth rate given by curvefitting method, and make comparison between electron energy loss with differentbeam electron density.
