Within the Sudeerte area, geological conditions of Xing’anling formation are complicated. Breaks develop here, tuff materials are contained in reservoirs and the heterogeneity is high. All of these features result in the varied effect of water injection except for the main part of Block16and central area of Block14in the process of water flooding development, and the whole development response is unsatisfactory. At the same time, problems such as subtly connective relationship among sand bodies, heterogeneity as well as oil-water relationship haven’t been solved in a geologic sense. Therefore, in order to provide the geological basis for implementing water injection adjustment and improving the oilfield exploitation result, it is imperative to carry out the fine reservoir description and have a profound understanding of reservoir characteristics. Based on the sequence stratigraphy theory, logging data of development wells, share of drilling data, seismic data and dynamic statistics are fully utilized in this paper to study comparatively the precise classification of subzones and individual sand bodies in Xing’anling formation.85sub layers are further subdivided into169single sand bodies and the subtly cross well connective relationship with a fine to sand bodies is established within the whole area for the first time. According to the description of core observation and experimental analysis data, the sedimentary model of nearshore subaqueous fan in Xing’anling formation has been confinmed and86sedimentary microfacies maps of major single sand bodies are pictured. The braided culvert, braided furrowdam and braided mesocolpium belong to favorable sedimentary microfacies from analysis of geological and dynamic statistics. Based on the achievements such as single sand body identification and tracking, the microstructure study of major single sand bodies, the heterogeneity study and three-dimensional geological modeling, the geological recognition about Xing’anling formation in Sudeerte is deepened, passive situation on oil production of Xing’anling formation in Sudeerte is mitigated effectively and fairly good effect is obtained. What’s more, we have explored a series of fine reservoir description methods of complex fault block reservoirs, which will provide helpful references for fine reservoir description in the Hailar-Tamsag Basin as well as other similar regions of the country.
