The current Biology suggests that a cell contains hundreds of motor proteins. It is molecule (?)or that accomplishes the transduction of chemical energy into mechanical energy. They are the ential agents of movement in all the activities. Myosin was studied most widely in all molecular (?)ors. The three-dimensional structure of myosin is given by X-Ray Diffraction, the chanochemical coupling model of the myosin ATPase is proposed and the dynamic characteres nyosin is tested by optical tweeaers trap.Power stroke is the nucleus concept in the mechanochemical actin activated myosin ATPase le. It was thought the process of transforming chemical energy into mechamical energy. The size power stroke should be a constant in conventional theory, but it measured in different eriments have nothing in common with each other. There is contradiction between the theory experiment results on the power stroke. To counter this problem, a new concept of power stroke roposed by biological physics workers of Inner Mongolia University. According to this new cept, power stroke is no longer a constant value. Based on the new concept of power stroke, the (?)e produced by myosin is studied in this paper. It is proposed that the force measured in the eriments is related with the elastic coefficient of optical trap and the modulus of the lever arm.(?)theoretical results were compared with the experimental results. The text is divided into four chapters. In chapter one, the function and structure of myosin are oduced. In chapter two, the mechanochemical actin-activated myosin ATPase cycle are oduced. In chaper three, some experimental data of dynamical measurement on single myosin and the contradiction between the theory and the experiments are introduced. Chapter four is the main part of this paper, Based on the new concept of the power stroke, the force produced by myosin is studied in this paper. It is proposed that the force measured in the experiment is related with the elastic coefficient of optical trap and the modulus of the lever arm. The theoretical results were compared with the experimental results.
