| Cabled seafloor observatory is one of front topics in marine science and technology. The establishment of cabled seafloor observatory requires large number of observation instruments, which provides long-term, reliable, continuous and real-time observation at the bottom of the sea. Scientific Instrument Interface Module (SIIM) and Instrument Platform provides observation instruments with power supply, information interaction and boarding base. In this paper, we focus on the need of observation instruments and provide a study in design and experiment of Sâ…¡M and Instrument Platform.Firstly, this paper describes the detection principle and access parameters of the observation instruments and set the foundation of the SIIM and observation design and optimization. Secondly, this paper develops the study in the SIIM internal structure radiating design, wire tracing, electromagnetic shielding, quick disassembly design, Sâ…¡M cavity pressure resistance and sealing design. The effectiveness of the radiating structure is verified through the experiments in radiating. This paper proposes the finite element static analysis in Sâ…¡M structure reliability. Furthermore, design of the Instrument Platform is described, which possesses great structure stability, hydrokinetics characteristic and attitude control function. This paper proposes the finite element analysis, flow field analysis through ANSYS and Fluent respectively, combined with attitude unit functional test, which verified the practicality. Finally, the pool test and the sea trial is carried and the feasibility of the whole system is proved. |
