Transfer zone gets more and more attention of petroleum geologists, and is often thehydrocarbon accumulation zone according to the exploration and practice. We analysis thecharacteristics of the transfer zone in Nanbeier depression by using distribution diagrams offaults、the graphs of Vertical fault distance along the strike direction、the graphs of thestratigraphic thickness、seismic profiles and other datas. Four second-order and twothird-order thansfer zones can be identified in this area, covering three major pattems:convergent、divergent and synthetic pattems, conversions or transfers displacement andstrain through the lateral uplifts、oblique anticlines、the strike ramps and horsts. The provenance of the Nanbeier depression east times concave north subsags mainlycomes from the central uplift which is on the west side, while south subsags mainly comesfrom the uplift which is on the east side, through the analysis of seismic attributes、seismicreflection characteristics、the graphs of the stratigraphic thickness and so on. Using theoryof sedimentology and sequence stratigraphy, based on drilling, logging and seismicdatas, and using the analysis ideas of single well phase-linked well phase-the planephase,we summarize the distribution characteristics of sedimentary systems of each layer:east times concave mainly develops fan delta-lakes system in K1tstage; nearshoresubaqueous fan, fan delta, sublacustrine fan and lakes system in K1n1stage; fan delta, sublacustrine fan and lakes system in K1n2stage. Through the systematic research oftransfer zone controls or influences on the provenance、sedimentary system、reservoir、traps、etc,we realize: the fourth transfer zone, synthetic-coincidental lines-lateral upliftstype, plays the role of the provenance channel, controls the development of favorablereservoir, places in oil centers and is the hydrocarbon enrichmental area; the fifth transferzone, convergent-superposition-oblique anticlines type, plays the role of a watershed, formsa two-way injection mode because it is in the middle of the two source subsags, developsblack mudstone and is the favorable area of hydrocarbon accumulation; while the first, second and sixth transfer zone are unfavourable areas; the third transfer zone only plays therole of providing the provenance.
