During the last few years, the Huabei oil field has turned into a lithologic&stratigraphic hydrocarbon reservoir from a structural hydrocarbon reservoir as the exploration is going deeper. The fluvial facies sand stones are an important area for the research of lithologic&stratigraphic hydrocarbon reservoirs. Reservoir forecast technique plays an increasingly important role in the reservoir exploration and has become an essential technical method for lithological discrimination and gas and oil forecast.Taking the Dawangzhuang district in Raoyang sag as example and considering the fluvial facies thin sands which feature in longitudinal stack, rapid horizontal change of the physical property and weak connectedness, optimize the seismic attributes analysis technique and waveform analysis technique of lateral resolution on the basis of high accuracy seismic interpretation, effectively defining the strike direction of the drainage channel and planar spreading of reservoirs. Depict and describe the planar spreading of reservoirs and swings of the meandering river using triaxial visualization technique. Using spectrum analysis technique, forecast the planar spreading of reservoirs and the distribution of sand body of the main stream channels through the changes of tuning frequency energy bodies. The frequency slices reflect the changes and swings of the rivers. Conduct high accuracy pseudo-acoustic wave inversion by optimizing SP log-curve which is sensitive to the channels. This method increases the resolution of longitudinal, horizontal of channel and point-bar sands. Combining the data concerning geology, seismic, well drilling, and analyzing all kinds of reservoir forecast techniques, provide support and reference for defining traps of channel and point-bar sands, geometric arrangement of wells.And meanwhile deepen the reservoir forecast techniques of fluvial facies.
