Small watershed hydrologic monitoring system is a comprehensive system of hydrologic data collection,in the physical architecture of mountain flood monitoring system, as a front-end sensor antennae,Using appropriate sensors to complete small watershed water level,flow velocity, rainfall, rainfall intensity, rainfall duration and other hydrologic data monitoring.The key research is layout mode of system nodes in the monitoring area,through scientific layout in order to fully and timely collet the hydrologic data and improve the life cycle of monitoring system.The study not only expands the watershed hydrologic monitoring information and improves the water regime information collection limitation, so as to provide the original database for background the establishment of mountain flood warning model.Research of small watershed hydrologic monitoring and system layout model based on WSN is divided into monitoring sections and the layout model sections.The hardware part of monitoring sections includes sensor selection,interface matching, sensor circuit design and circuit of monitoring node design.It Chooses MSP430F5437as microprocessor to realize the control of the sensor and gain the water regime information and simplely process the data.The software part of monitoring sections consists of data acquisition, system network, node communication, and other process control.it also includes A/D conversion, data extraction, data redundancy control processing.System layout model, according to the linear characteristic of gathering area,Analysis the factors of energy consumption in the monitoring node,it puts forward the mathematical model of system node layout by mathematical theory.Finally,from two aspects of simulation and experiments to verify the feasibility of watershed hydrologic monitoring and system layout model,It not only realizes hydrologic monitoring and prolongs the life cycle of the system, and demonstrates the practicability of this system in environmental monitoring.The peper is applied the wireless sensor network (WSN)in the watershed hydrologic monitoring system and it Provides a new kind of system layout model.It provides a scientific, efficient and intelligent method for hydrologic data collection to realize the small watershed hydrologic data collection, processing, transmission and improve the life cycle of the system.combined with the back of the small watershed embedded data gathering platform,it constitutes a complete mountain flood warning system,can realize automation and integration for geological disasters from mountain torrents monitoring and early warning.lt provides the safeguard for circumvent the risk of flash floods,to avoid or reduce casualties and property losses caused by mountain torrent disaster, effective defense against mountain torrent disaster and implement command decision and scheduling and disaster relief.In a timely manner to carry out this cutting-edge technology research of Profound effects on human life in the future, for the whole country’s social economy will have great strategic significance.
