Traffic accident black spot identification is one of the important contents of thetraffic safety research.Current accident black-spot method is mainly used when the in-cident identification and study of sections, such ex-post control methods are a certainnumber of traffic accidents occurred as a research cost, resulting in significant loss oflife and property.Therefore, effective accident blackspot predictive methods, for design,research and administration in road planning, design, analysis, construction stages roadsafety provides technical support and to detect potentially dangerous road sections, ac-cident prevention, to solve the problem of road traffic safety in China and social issuesare of great practical significance.This highway as an example, in traffic accident black-spot analysis, accidentblack spots and cause analysis of influence factors on the basis of presented fractaltheory applied to traffic black-prediction and regional macro-evaluation of new me-thods. Primarily carried out the following research: Presented a paper to the definitionof accident black spots;From the perspective of qualitative analysis in conjunction withcase deals with self-similarity of accident black spots;Fractal theory applied to theanalysis of traffic accident black spot identification theory support and feasibili-ty;Analysis of the factors influencing the traffic accident black spots;Through principalcomponent analysis of causation is extracted key;Key causes into the fractal model ofcalculating the correlation dimension;Use case studies to validate, a description of theeffectiveness and feasibility of fractal model;Accident black spots prediction of fractaldimension model placed in the Arcgis platform, automatic calculation of all sections ofthe associated dimension value in the region;Using k-means clustering method forclassification of dimension calculation results and accident black spot risk level;FinallyPA tired Tovey on the whole macro-evaluation of the research on regional distributionof accident black spots.In the analysis of traffic accident black spot identification me-thod in this article exist on the basis of common problems, around a single road, andmacro-regional study on severity predictive methods for accident black spots.
