In recent years, the reports on the geological disasters are not uncommon. Thesedisaster reports reflect the real-time monitoring and warning system construction lag,there is an urgent need to establish the geological disasters in high-prone areas oflandslides and debris flows intelligent detection warning system in China, which iscapable of rapid warning and implementation of emergency refuge to avoid casualtiesthrough quickly collecting geological disasters precursory information. With thedevelopment of wireless communications and other related disciplines, it brings a newopportunity for the development of geological disaster monitoring and early warningtechnology. this paper will be based on the forming principle of the geological disastersof landslide and debris,and integrately apply wireless communications technology andembedded technology and sensor technology to achieve the monitoring and preventionof geological disasters in areas remote monitoring and early warning. The Article willdo a elaborate on the establishment of geological disaster warning system which isbased on ZigBee and GSM communication technology, as well as a detailed descriptionof the system hardware node production based on TI’s CC2431chip and softwareprogram. The study mainly has the following content.1. A principle of forming landslide and debris flow is researched to make elaboratethe functional requirements of the system, which in order to be able to select the systemparameters and the sensor parameters need to be monitored.2. Some applicable programs of communication system and hardware node areresearched. The system will use the ZigBee communication with GSM communicationto achieve the communication architecture of the whole system,and at the same timewill use the CC2431chip to achieve hardware node control design and ZigBeecommunication, will apply Siemens MC37I to achieve GSM communication, selectsinclination, temperature and humidity, the nodal displacements and rainfall as thesystem of environmental monitoring parameters.3. Some designs of each of the sensor circuit, the power supply circuit, thecommunication circuit are researched, an independent rainfall monitoring device is independently designed to achieve autonomous computing and communications rainfall.4. Some embedded program are designed, which get various environmentalparameters for the different characteristics of the sensor, and be able to realize thecommunication of the monitoring parameters communications transmission and designfor different categories of sensor nodes.5. This paper preliminarily studies warning of geological disasters principles andmodels.System can play role in early warning for village, construction sites, mines andother disaster-prone places,can play a role in promoting the development of geologicaldisaster warning technology.This study focused on the front-end data acquisition and also preliminarily studygeological disaster warning model. The system can effectively complete systemnetworking, system monitoring, data transmission functions and effective disseminationof early warning information. By testing system hardware and software, the system isable to achieve the basic design goal, can be play an important role in the early warningof geological disasters prevention.
