Doppler weather radar is a significant instrument of surveilling the mesoscale and micro-scale disastrous weather systems due to its high spatial and temporal resolution as well as its accurate capability in remote sensing.By using the Doppler weather radar data, severe storm system can be detected effectively to make real-time warning which is of great significance to nowcasting prediction.This paper introduces reference methods and experiences of domestic and foreign for radar quality control, tries to quality control the basic reflectivity of elevation0.5degrees using vertical and horizontal structure parameters of structural parameters, introducing the automated2dimension multi-pass Doppler radar velocity dealiasing algorithm to amend the radial velocity data and the deficiency data. The paper introduces the current situation of domestic and foreign for wind retrieval, using multi-threshold SCIT algorithm to identify storm cell center on storm identification in this paper. In storm tracking and nowcasting algorithm, take full advantage of Doppler wind data using VAD method to retrieval wind field information so as to make a comparison with TREC (tracking radar echoes by correction), choose the different attitudes testing the best appropriate steering flow so as to select Doppler radar data from8attitudes of2km,2.5km,3.5km,4km,4.5km,5km,5.5km to proceed linear extrapolation and make a comparison.There are some innovations in this paper:(1) In order to make full use of Doppler weather radar data information and improve tracking and forecast precision, reflectivity factor and wind field information are used in storm tracking and nowcasting algorithms, thus distinguishing the widely used extrapolation algorithm based on reflectivity factor only.(2) Tries to extrapolate the Doppler weather radar data information of different attitudes seeking out the best appropriate steering flow. Research Finding:two different convective storms, the stronger intensity of reflectivity factor correspond to the higher attitude of steering flow. The results of research provide research frame to motion pattern and development mechanism of convective precipitation.
