With the continued development of national economy, the surface morphology changes frequently, for real-time surveying and mapping and the urgent needs for high-resolution remote sensing image from all walks of life, the low-altitude UAV remote sensing has developed rapidly. The aerial photography system of low-altitude UAV has the characteristics of flexible, running low-cost, low-altitude flying under the cloud, getting high-resolution remote sensing image and so on, as a strong complement of satellite remote sensing and manned aircraft airborne remote sensing, it has good effects in getting high-resolution remote sensing image of small area, providing emergency surveying and mapping support for disaster and remote sensing image of difficult terrain area. UAV is low altitude flight and light weight, carries the digital camera of small picture format. When low altitude flight, under the influence of airflow, incorrect horizontal relationship of autopilot (gyroscope) and fuselage and so on, it will deviate designed aerial route with poor flight attitude, make large tilt angle, swing angle and irregular photo overlap degree which exist between obtained adjacent remote sensing image and may cause aerial photography gap. If check information can’t be quick feedback after flight, the caused economic loss is incalculable, therefore, the automatic check for aerial photography flight quality is very important.The article analyzes the research status of check for aerial photography flight quality at home and broad, systematically describes each component of the aerial photography system of low-altitude UAV and the basic idea of automatic check for aerial photography flight quality of low-altitude UAV. Making a deep research on distortion correction of low-altitude UAV remote sensing image, automatic generation of topology relation and so on which are the key technology in implementing automatic check, based on development platform of visual studio2008, it implements the automatic check for aerial photography flight quality with C#programming language. Combining with the major project of "Prospering land and harmonizing border" farmland renovation of Yunnan Basic Surveying and Mapping Technology Center, it uses automatic check system to check and evaluate the aerial photography flight quality of photography areas. By analyzing the treatment efficiency, it verifies the effectiveness of system and attains the objective of automatic check for aerial photography flight quality. Meanwhile it points out that it can effectively avoid the generation of aerial photography gap with artificially increasing the designed longitudinal overlap degree and lateral overlap degree in the process of designing aerial route of flight. For qualified photography areas of aerial photography flight quality, it can continue to make orthophoto (class B) with automatic aerial triangulation and production module of DPGrid LATImage, and implements the automatic check for aerial photography flight quality and making orthophoto (class B) at the same time.
