Structuring and synchronizing multi-scroll chaotic attractors make up of main exponentof this paper. A new multi-scroll chaotic system is selected to be research object for showingthe typicality and practicality of this study. Based on chaotic system synchronization theorem,we do deep study on synchronization issues. These issues include fully synchronization,generalized projective synchronization, anti-synchronization by numerical simulation andtheoretical analysis.At the first place, this paper summarizes some great discoveries in the process ofdevelopment of chaotic science and study situation. Some fundamental theorems aboutsynchronization the study meaning of this paper are given too.Secondly, several methods of generating multi-scroll attractor are described simply. Westill the generation and dynamic characteristic of this multi-scroll chaotic system which isselected in this paper. After doing these, numerical counting shows the complexity of thissystem.Again, some researches are done on fully synchronization, generalized projectivesynchronization, anti-synchronization. The modified active control synchronization methodand state of control method are used to achieve synchronization. Theoretical analysis andsimulation results prove that synchronization methods to the multi-scroll chaotic system areworkable and effective.In the end, the multi-scroll chaotic system is applied to secure communication and theapplication is come true by designing corresponding controller in this paper. The reason whywe do this is that multi-scroll chaotic system owns very complicated dynamic characteristicand many parameters, these can improve the security of information.
