This article is a study on Taibaimiao gold deposit in Zhen’an county, Shaanxi province.Based on the full systematization and absorption of a large number of previous studies and bymeans of the deep and detailed field geological survey, a great deal of geological informationand samples of rocks and minerals related have been collected and researched with thetheories and methods of mineralogy, petrology, tectonics, geochemistry, mineral deposits andso on.Based on the analyzing regional, mining and ore body geology and by means of theresearch of the gold deposit strata, ore-controlling structures, hydrogen, oxygen and sulfurisotope, trace and rare earth elements, tempreture measure of the inclusion, pressure measureand fluid composition data, the geological condition and the origin of the gold deposits ofTaibaimiao gold deposit were analyzed and judged.It is found by the analysis that Taibaimiao gold deposit is a physical and chemicalenvironment of low temperature, low pressure and low salinity fluids. The gold ore bodiesoccurred as Bedded, veins, and lens-like ones. The main ore-bearing strata are produced in themetamorphic clay and calcareous siltstones called Xinghongpu group and Jiuliping group.Controlled by the stratigraphic and structural factors, the NWW secondary fracture is themain ore-controlled structure. The secondary fracture by the side of large shear fault plays anrole of transferring hot ore-bearing fluid and became the ore matching and ore storingstructure. Associated with the gold mineralization and alteration are mainly silicification,pyritization, carbonatization, sericitization of low temperature hydrothermal alteration and soon. The gold mainly exists in the form from microscopic to submicroscopic. The particlegold is common with a size of larger than0.2mm, the particle size based on macroscopicobservation is usually around1mm and the microscopic particle size is about0.05mm. The geochemistric characteristics of ore-forming element is mainly in the group of Au-Pb-Zn-Cu-As-Sb-Bi. From the characteristics analysis of Taibaimiao gold deposit, the characteristic ofTaibaimiao gold deposit is neraly similar to the Carlin-like gold deposit. Therefore, this golddeposit belongs to the Carlin-like gold deposit for sure.
