With the falling cost of sequencing, more and more sequencing data have beengenerated, everyone will have their own genome data in the future, and personalgenomics era is coming. Now data analysis is replacing data generation as therate-limiting step in genomics studies. Genome data visualization tools could helpresearchers to understand with genomic data and find the relationship between data.Especially personal genomic data analysis could provide some individualinformation for everyone.There are two kinds of visualization tools, one is web-based, and the other oneis local. Because of particularly large amount of genomic data, genomic data shouldbe stored on the server side instead of the local. The bandwidth is constantlyincreasing; therefore the structure of this visualization system is web-based form,which is also consistent with the "cloud era."The work of visualization was done on the browser side; a lot of computation isassigned to the user’s computer, reducing the load on the server, using canvastechnology. This system can show human genome data, sequence alignment resultdata, gene annotation data, variant data and quantitative data in different modes.And these modes can convert automatically according to the scope of search, withsemantic feature.The visualization of personal genome information is variation-centered. Theannotation of personal genome consists of two parts; the one is the change of theexpression of genetic information, the other one is phenotypic data. This helpsresearchers to discover some new disease and develop drug for related diseases, tofacilitate medical treatment of the disease.The system provides users with search, pan, zoom, track management, datauploading and other rich interactions, and we improve system performance by usingsome graphics algorithm,"pseudo multi-threading" methods.
