Choosing a reasonable synthetic method to synthesize time-histories is a securityfor the input of time history. Fitting of the target response spectrum of processsynthesis method can’t get frequency non-stationary acceleration time history; Theselection of a random number has a great influence for the synthesis of accelerationtime history; The different methods for the phase spectrum will produce certaindifferences to the determination of acceleration time-histories synthesis and itscharacteristic parameters; In the process of Stochastic finite fault method in synthesis,the ground motion parameter will change largely with the generation of fault sizedivision. This paper makes studies based on random selection, the determination ofphase spectrum method and Masude source spectrum model improvement etc, and onthis basis, its discusses the random number and phase spectrum of acceleration timehistory, the influence law of characteristic parameter, and the differences between thesource spectrum model for synthesis of the schedule; Finally, its can improve modelfor the synthesis of acceleration time history. The main research contents and resultsare as follows:(1)According to the basic thought by Sclan who proposes fitting the targetresponse spectrum path synthesis, applies the FORTRAN assembler language to getthe phase spectrum of seismic acceleration time history of synthetic procedurerespectively based on the random phase spectrum and the phase difference spectrum.The program is verified to be scientific and practical by test through an example.(2)This paper analysis of the process that fitting of the target response spectrumsynthesis seismic acceleration time history, the influences of the selection of randomNumbers as well as the phase spectrum method for determining the characteristicparameters of synthesis of the schedule-peak, effective peak, energy duration, absoluteenergy duration, energy and so on. It also summaries the random phase which based onphase difference spectrum and spectral characteristic parameters of synthesis of theschedule (the peak, the effective peak, energy continue, absolute energy duration) ofthe differences and change rules.(3) On the principle of conservation of energy, it improves the random finite faultacceleration calibration method for determining factor in the synthesis. It can improvethe size of the fault with the other models of the vibration amplitude comparison andvalidate rationality and superiority of the model obtained though the improved Masude source spectrum model presented in this paper. Besides, the comparative analysisbetween the schedule and the ground motion amplitude differences according to theimproved Masude model for this article and the corner frequency method for thesynthesis of the schedule, to make a better validation of the effectiveness to theimproved model. Finally, the improvement of the source spectrum model applied to theactual project and carried on the synthesis of acceleration time history.
