Taihang Mountain area that locates in Baoding west is an old revolutionary base area,which is one of the serious water shortage areas in China. Water shortage has been thefactor that restricts the development of local economy, affected the quality of farmers’ life,therefore, solving water drinking problem has been a matter of prime importance forimproving local economy and farmers’ life quality. Then, the effective solution for watershortage is to explore, develop and make good use of the bedrock groundwater in this area.However, there are always complex hydrogeological conditions, wavy terrain in mountainareas, and the main groundwater is bedrock fissure water, which is strictly controlled byrock structure and uneven distribution, so groundwater exploration is of great difficulty inmountain areas. In the past, restricting by technology, the success rate of groundwater wellin bedrock mountain area is low, the efficiency is not high. Therefore, this thesis focus theabove problems on bedrock groundwater exploration, some different drilling techniquesand water technology have been found on the base of analysis for bedrock fissure waterstorage structure and prospecting characteristics, some study for key technology,such ashigh resolution remote sensing linear structure interpretation, and magnetotelluric methodTM/TE observation mode which can eliminate the topographic effects. After analysis,Theauthor found different technology for well drilling and water output increasing which aresuitable for mountain areas solving serious water shortage problems, and found the modesthat form integrated geophysical prospecting techniques for bedrock mountain groundwaterexploration and the exploration mode that is determined by different types of integratedgeophysical borehole structure, furthermore, the author established a set of accurate andefficient exploration technical system that contains hydrological geology, remote sensing,comprehensive geophysical prospecting, and drilling techniques for bedrock mountainfissure groundwater, moreover, the system has achieved the expected effect after somepractice verification, thus it will provide supporting technology for the explorations ofbedrock fissure water in mountain areas.
