The South Tianshan is an important area to find mine in our country, it experienced acomplex geological evolution. The Tarim plate and the Erie-Central Tianshan platecontinental collision and they were folded orogenic in Late Paleozoic. The tectonicdeformation occurred in this period provided a good transport and enrichment sites forforming the ore deposits. Magmatic intrusions in Permian provided the minerals and heatsource.Based on the survey of Xinjiang Wushitala area1:50000Geology and Mineral Resources,used the field survey, the geophysical, geochemical and other methods, combined with thelatest field work and indoor stratigraphy, petrology, isotope chronology, geochemistry, mineralgeological data, the paper researched the formation rock characteristics in the studyarea.Compared with the regional stratigraphic,it studied the structure evolvement of theSouth Tianshan area. Through analyzing the characteristics of the regional geological,geochemical exploration and geophysical anomaly, this paper analyse the metallogeneticfactors of each mineral occurrence. On this basis, the paper explored the the structureevolvement and metallogenic regularity of Wushitala area.By this paper, there were some cognitions of the research area:1, Through the analysis of tectonic deformation, combined with previous studies and theinformation of neighboring areas, we know that the area had experienced five stages ofdevelopment since early Paleozoic: the continental breakup, the evolution of the ocean, theresidual basin, continental collision and intracontinental fault depression.2, According to the geophysical, geochemical and remote sensing data, it checked the allgeochemical exploration regions which were circled by predecessors, finally, we knew thecauses of geochemical anomalies and previewed the ore prospects in study area. According toanalyse the courses of various minerals in the study area and the mineral tectonic geologicalconditions, the results show that the mineral formation in study area were related to tectonic-thermal event in late carboniferous-early permian. According to the geological conditions,the study area was ceded to the three metallogenic prospective provinces, and it established five mineralization targets to provide a reference for further prospecting.
