Along with the gradually development and utilization of shallow resources, the key pointof the resources exploration is about2000m from the surface of deep resources in the future.According to the future resources exploration of the actual situation in our country and therope coring process characteristics, Xi ’an prospecting machinery factory, independentlydeveloped XDL-1800hydraulic core drilling which is suitable for deep hole coring drilling, especially hydraulic caliper disc brake manipulation, making the drill in braking is moreconvenient, reliable and has much to improve the overall performance of the drilling rig.The paper is based on the structure and working principle of the XDL-1800drilling rigbrake device. Using the finite element analysis software ANSYS modeling to simulation forthe process of braking, and applied the brake the entity modeling, finite element meshing andfinite element analysis methods of calculation and design improvements, the brake disc brakework with friction plate for a three-dimensional finite element modeling and simulation of thefriction pair parts three-dimensional temperature field, stress field distribution, and draw thecorresponding distribution law, At the same time, based on the predecessors’ work, combinedwith the actual size of the XDL-1800drilling rig disc brake, established the temperature fieldwith variable speed effect and stress field finite element model, using nonlinear finite elementanalysis method, and involve the simulated the brake process of disc brake. The results of the study provides the basis for the coupled thermal and structural, discbrake device further development of high-performance brake material and the optimum designof braking device, will also for later similar core drill’s design to provide theoretical guidance and technical reference.
