The research on Natural Gas Hydrate (Natural Gas Hydrate, NGH) has become one ofthe hottest researches in the world. For the sake of better development and utilization ofnatural gas hydrate, two technologies on natural gas hydrate, formation simulation technologyand natural gas hydrate property test technology, have been deeply studied in this paper.Firstly, the present development situation of natural gas hydrate experimental device athome and abroad is introduced in the paper and the basic knowledge of natural gas hydrate isbriefly elaborated.Secondly, the NGH formation simulation experiment technology and experimentaldevices and NGH property test technology and experimental devices have been respectivelyanalyzed in detail. The basic generating principle of hydrate and various influential factors,such as temperature, pressure, surface active agent, mixing etc, have been discussed in theprocession of researching NGH formation simulation experiment technology andexperimental equipment. In addition, the technical characteristics of natural gas hydratesimulation experiment devices at home and abroad, each of which is analyzed and assessed,have been given much attention. During the analysis of NGH property test technology andexperimental equipment, much focus has been put on the measurement principle of naturalgas hydrate resistivity, ultrasonic characteristics, TDR technology measurement hydratesaturation. Base on these characteristics, some representative experimental devices at homeand abroad are introduced and evaluated. What’s more, there comes to a conclusion of NGHphysical parameters testing technology and the technically optimizing parameters have beenput forward to design NGH formation simulation experiment devices and NGH propertytesting devices. Finally, simulation experiment device module of NGH is explicitly introduced, and theoptimizing scheme of module structure and function has been raised according to the functionand composition of each module.
