GRACE gravity satellites which low orbit can obtain monthly earth gravity field datawith high accuracy. The data contains abundant time-variables geodynamic information. Wecan decompose gravity field change effectively, and obtain the different wavelengthscomponents of gravity change by wavelet analysis technology. It has great theoreticalsignificance and practical application value in the research of corresponding relation betweengeological structure and the seismic activity, and the dynamics of earth’s evolution process,etc.We use traditional B spline wavelet and improved spherical wavelet technology tocalculate the static ground gravity observation data and the GRACE satellite observation datawith multi-scale decomposition method of the Si chuan province regional. Then compared andanalysised with the seismic activity in the region has carried on. Main results are as follows:1、 On the basis of summarizing the wavelet analysis theory, we deduced the structure oftwo-dimensional harmonic wavelet algorithm combining with P dimension cubic polynomialfunction which is suitable for spherical surface data calculation. At the same time, a series ofcorresponding program is compiled by C++.2、 Calculating GRACE monthly gravity field observed data of pre-seismic, co-seismicand post-seismic the earthquake in Wen chuan region based on the pile finite differencemethod. And we evaluates the error of the GRACE monthly model. Then we compared thedistribution characteristics and change rules in the earthquake area of the satellite gravityobservation data and those conventional ground gravity observation data.3、 Using the two-dimensional B spline wavelet analysis method, we disintegrated theflow ground gravity observation data with multiphase scale wavelet decomposition method.The repeated data comes from the research on Wen chuan earthquake area between1998and1998. And we analyzes the different order wavelet results corresponding to the gravity fieldvariation characteristics, then finds that three order wavelet decomposition of gravityanomalies result have most obvious changes near the epicenter.4、 We builds the spherical wavelet analysis method and use it to separate the co-seismicgravity variations which was obtained from GRACE. It turns out that the3order decomposition result was corresponded better to the geological structure distribution.
