Taoyuan copper deposit is located in the junction of Neiqiu county and LinchengCounty, tectonic position of it is Sino Korean paraplatform Shanxifault uplift, TaihangMountain East, Zanhuang dome arch broken beam offbeam on the west side,it is the largestcopper deposit in the south of Taihang mountains.Through analysis the major elements,trace elements and REE of The rock and ore in Taoyuan copper,and combined with thecharacteristics of fluid inclusions, to determine the metallogenic temperature ore-formingmaterial sources of Taoyuan copper deposit.Taoyuan copper deposit is occur in the third group of paleo Proterozoic GantaoheGroupSouth Temple palm, lithology of ore bearing is foliated sub basalt, basalt andsurrounding rocktime is showing intrusive contact. The ore bodies is vein, lenticular, withblind orebody; ore minerals arechalcopyrite, pyrite, sphalerite, galena, a small amount ofpyrrhotite,magnetite, ilmenite, natural trace bismuth, oxidation of secondary metalmineralsare hematite, bornite, malachite etc. According to the texture of the mutual relationshipbetween the cut, paragenesis,orestructure,Taoyuan copper ore-forming process can bedivided into hydrothermal stage and supergene stage. At the alteration of the surroundingrock,silicification,chloritization, albite,biotite and carbonation have relation withmineralization, the types of Alteration assemblage have obvious zonation in spacedistribution, from the inside to the outside in horizontal and vertical direction,it can bedivided into:①T he silicified zone,②Chloritization-albitization-biotite zone,③Albitebiotitezone,④The carbonation zone.Founding that the main elements show that silicon content of alkali is low in thebasalt,rich in sodium and poor in potassium of Taoyuan mine.Characteristics of quartzporphyry of Austrian showed high silicon, alkali,relatively rich in sodium depleted ofpotassium, calcium and magnesium depleted.Changes in the scope of content andcharacteristics of trace elements and rare earth elements in rock and ore are the same, itexplain that rock and ore material have the same sources or close genetic relation.Theanalysis showed that the source of ore-forming material, mineralmainly comes from thearea of basalt, analysis showed that S matter is mainly derived from the mantle or mantlederived basalts, it consistent with a basalt and diabase.Analysis of the fluid inclusionthermometry show that the range of main metallogenic period of ore-forming temperature is232.6~313.97℃, so genetic types of Taoyuan copper deposit should be volcano-Volcanohydrothermal deposit.
