Research And Implementation Of Graphical Information Display Platform Based On GIS

Geographical information system (Geographical Information System, GIS)is a product of the development of computer technology and information systems technology used in geographical science. It is a complex of spatial data and attribute data.Basing on existing open source software, we develop the public WebGIS platform with a graphical information display function by writing computer programs. Using open source software GeoServer, OpenScales and Adobe Flex, we build WebGIS development platform and achieve the presentation layer of graphical information display platform. Spring Framework is built on the Eclipse platform by using Tomcat server, it followed J2EE development rules. They are ensuring open source and efficiency of the WebGIS graphics information displaying, they are achieving the logic layer of graphical information display platform. PostgreSql and PostGIS combine spatial and relational databases, data layer of graphical information display platform is achieved.In the development of layers and graphics, this article is not only achieving a variety of basic operations for maps and graphics, such as zoom in, zoom out, pan, layers superimposed, but also achieving map drawing with the basic point, line, surface, especially, drawing of the curve and the curve area by combining Bezier curve and cubic spline curve. In the development of business logic layer, this article achieves creating, saving, getting and clearing of layers and graphics to meet the basic needing of the system functions for the users. In the developed process of Graphics information label, this article achieves the definition, modify, delete and view function of the label information to meet the needs and applications for label information of users.This article shows the actual role of graphic information display platform from drawing of tourist routes, precipitation range, substation and drawing of lines, reflecting the usefulness of the graphical information display platform to meet industry requirements for the display of geographic information, and reaching the purpose that the software services the society.
