Airborne electromagnetic method has the advantage of low cost, fast speed, exploring largeregional geophysical field from on macroscopic. The number of the airborne electromagnetic datais very huge, and the correlation between them is very high. The interpretation method of air-borneelectromagnetic data, there are electrical conductivity depth imaging and electrical conductivitydepth conversion, approximate first-order second conversion, plate earth inversion and so on. Thispaper proposes using the principal component analysis method to take rapid imaging of theanomalous region. The measured airborne electromagnetic data is very large, and contains noiseand redundant information, and the correlation between the channels is quite strong, these elementsbring great inconvenience for the late processing, analyzing and mapping. Using of the principalcomponent analysis, we can reduce the data dimension. Through the eigenvalue extracting we canremove the noise and the correlation between data easily. After the principal component analysis(PCA) analyzing of the airborne electromagnetic data, we can get the information of the detectionarea and make sure the area of the high conductor quickly. These advantages bring greatconveniences to the later analysis.
