This thesis makes use of chaos in image and video encryption techniques,the image and video encryption algorithm will have a good efficiency and besafer.This thesis first reviews the development course of chaos theory, whichmade a in-depth research on the relevant knowledge of chaos theory,whichintroduces the development, content, classification, main task and its practicalapplication of chaos control, and lists the chaotic control the common method.On the basis of these theories, which based on it is pseudorandom,one-dimensional Logistic map, two-dimensional Henon map, three-dimensionalLorenz system are designed and analyzed.The next part of this article analyzed and summarized the chaoticencryption algorithm、image encryption algorithm、video encryption algorithmand an image encryption algorithm based on chaotic systems, which introducethe DES and3DES, and this dissertation focuses on the chaotic theory and3DESalgorithm and present two of the composite algorithm based on chaos mapping.Using C++programming, debugging and running in the VS2008environmentapplications, and a security analysis of the numerical simulation is given.Compared with the original algorithm, the improved schemes can not onlyincrease the initial key space, but also enhance the key sensitivity andrandomness, so the anti-attack ability of the algorithm and security areimproved.Finally according to the theory of chaotic synchronization, throughanalyzing the Rossler chaotic synchronization, which designs a drive system atthe transmitter and a response system at the receiver, and adds a appropriatecontroller for response system to achieve synchronization. The simulationresults show that the scheme is feasible, and use this solution to randomsampling to a period of AVI video for encryption and decryption.
