The study of Shandong aolian deposit is indispensable in China aolian depositsystem for that is located in the middle part of modern monsoon area in China. Studyof aeolian deposition around Shandong province, such as the Northwest of LoessPlateau, Yangtze Riber Basin, Liaodogn Peninsula, Xinjiang area, has madeconsiderable progress and development. But the provenance of Shandong eoliandeposition has a degree of bifurcation significance. In this thesis, Optically StimulatedLuminescence (OSL), Single Aliquot Regeneration (SAR), grain size, geochemistry(major elements, trace elements are included) and isotope geochemistry are used toanalysis the geochemical characteristics, chemical weathering of Pingyin section inShandong Province and its provenance. In this paper, there are a total of7OSLsamples,141grain size samples,70geochemistry samples and7isotopes samples ofPingyin aolian deposit.The C-M, F-M diagram of loess between Pinyin and Yellow River area showsthat Pingyin Longqiao loess is aeolian loess and Yellow River area is minase loess.The major elements of Pingyin loess indicate that: The content of Fe2O3、SiO2、Al2O3、MgO、CaO、K2O、Na2O in the whole loess sequence has a certain degree of change.The coefficient of variation of CaO is68%. The content of Fe2O3、SiO2、Al2O3、K2Oin Pingyin have no obvious variation, remains almost the same. But with the influenceof authigenic carbonate, the content of Fe2O3、SiO2、Al2O3、K2O in loess is lower thanin paleosol. Trace elements in Pingyin loess show that: The distribution of traceelements can be used as alternative indicators on the climate of Pingyin region. Theamplitude of Co is the biggest, Cu amplitude is small, but the coefficient of variationis large, and the coefficient of variation is64.27%. Since77Ka B.P., the provenanceof Pingyin loess is stable or has been fully mixed in the migration process. εNd(0) inPingyin loess varied between-13.7134~-12.1333. Besides, εNd(0) in Pingyin loess,Xining loess and Xifeng loess are different. εNd(0) in Pingyin loess has some similarto Jixian loess which indicated that Pingyin loess may be composed of proximaldeposits.
